Our investing is results and impact oriented, with the ultimate goal of building more prosperous communities in Africa and around the world, for current and future generations. To achieve this goal, we implement a three-phase investment strategy:

Phase 1: Scale What's Already Working

In Phase 1, we start with scaling what's already working by funding the expansion of already successful African businesses. This immediately accelerates their impact on the ground by creating jobs, delivering better goods and services to the community, and driving demand for additional goods and services as incomes increase, which then accelerates the growth of other businesses and keeps the flourishing cycle going.

Phase 2: Build Strategic Strengths

During Phase 2, we assess each country / geographical region for the natural advantages it possesses so that we can match it with industries that naturally build upon those existing advantages. This reduces duplicative investments across the continent - enabling each region to play to its strengths and serve others. For instance, each African country does not need its own automotive manufacturing industry - one region can serve the whole continent. We are all stronger when we play to our strengths.
