Proven Business Model
The business has demonstrated that its model works: it serves a real need, generates real revenue, is profitable, and has earned trust within its community

Our Work
Adifund's role is to accelerate the impact Africa's builders are already creating. On this page, you'll see the businesses your membership has supported, the results delivered, and the people behind them—the true builders driving Africa forward.
How We Work
We look for businesses that are already serving people well, already growing,
and already demonstrating what is possible with the right support. Then we
provide that support: capital structured for real business growth, expertise that
opens new doors, and partnerships that extend reach across the continent and beyond.
Africa's transformation is already underway. Our job is to accelerate it.
We accelerate the growth of thriving African businesses with proven business models and clear paths to scale. At this stage, we do not invest in early-stage startups or experimental ventures. Instead, we focus on strengthening and accelerating what is already working so that more people can benefit.

We grow the pie. We do not fight for the biggest slice.
At Adifund, we believe in additive business models that create more value for everyone. We scale companies that deliver profits with purpose—creating jobs, serving communities, and expanding opportunity. Returns matter, but how they’re generated matters just as much.

We measure success by the people who tell us we’ve made a positive difference in their lives.
Our transformation roadmap is pragmatic, bold, and collaborative. We build step by step, starting with a strong foundation and expanding from there. And we measure our progress by what the people on the ground tell us has changed in their lives.

What We Focus On
At this stage, our focus is not on starting new businesses. We look for African businesses that have proven their business models, demonstrated value to their communities, and shown capacity to grow—and provide them with the capital and expertise to scale.
This discipline matters. Every member's contribution deserves to be deployed where the evidence is strongest and the impact is clearest. That is the standard we hold ourselves to with every partnership decision we make.
The business has demonstrated that its model works: it serves a real need, generates real revenue, is profitable, and has earned trust within its community
The business has a credible and specific plan to grow across a country, a region, or the continent, along with the operational capacity to execute that plan with the right support.
The business creates tangible value for the people it serves—through jobs, access to valuable goods and services, expanded opportunity, and stronger community wellbeing.
The business is run by people who share Adifund's values: honest, accountable, and committed to building something that lasts.
Your Membership Impact

Our Strategic Partnerships
We designed our operating model rooted in ecosystem optimization - collaborating with our strategic partners to expand our reach, move faster, and amplify our impact.
We deliberately avoid duplicating capabilities that already exist across Africa or within our global network. Instead, we integrate with and amplify them-enhancing what's already working and connecting it more broadly. This approach generates powerful multiplier effects and ensures our efforts are focused on accelerating Africa's growth and strengthening its systems and communities.
If you are a business owner scaling a business, or an industry leader building new industry capabilities, we welcome the opportunity to connect and explore how we can work together to create greater value.
Below is our ecosystem approach in action, highlighting two of our strategic partners and how, together, we serve more people in more ways, drive shared success, and deliver greater impact on the ground.
Through our work, we've identified three essentials for company growth: capital, business expertise, and infrastructure. Instead of building these capabilities from the ground up in-house, we strategically partnered with GIAC and MaxBalo—two organizations that share our values and bring proven excellence in these domains. GIAC provides the business expertise to scale, while MaxBalo supplies the working capital to fuel growth.
By integrating our infrastructures and networks, we accelerate execution, expand reach, and amplify impact-accelerating Africa's transformation. African businesses benefit from a seamless ecosystem that provides immediate access to all three capabilities, regardless of their entry point-creating a true one-stop shop for scaling.

Results in Their Own Words
Real voices from entrepreneurs and members shaping Africa's future together.

Before this partnership, I had one shop. Now I have three shops, going on to four. I have hired more people and opened more branches. More people have jobs now - earning income and supporting their families - as a result of this partnership.

When I needed to purchase an excavator, they understood my business and got everything done within four days. A bank would not have moved that fast. That speed made a real difference for my business.

Two years ago, we had no shop, no staff, and bank conditions that did not work for us. This partnership gave us the facilities to expand, enabling us to bring in more goods so that we can serve more people, and grow our team - creating jobs. I recommend this partnership to anyone who wants to take their business to the next level.

Member Stories
Adifund's members are active co-owners, contributing capital, expertise, and commitment to everything we build together. Here's what some of them have shared about why they joined and what being part of Adifund means to them.

I'll tell you one of the most memorable things being an Adifund member has done for me. I was having a conversation with a group of friends about how things could be improved across Africa—and honestly, it had turned into more of a venting session about what's broken.
At one point, my friend Jane jumped in and said, 'All you people do is complain and point fingers about what others aren't doing… but it's all talk. What are you doing about it yourselves?'
She was right. We weren't being constructive—we weren't solving anything. And I suddenly felt put on the spot.
So I shared that, through my Adifund membership, I'm actually contributing to change—helping create jobs, supporting businesses to grow, and playing a role in transforming communities. The mood in the room totally shifted. People were genuinely impressed. I'm not someone who seeks attention, but I'll admit—it felt so good. Totally redeemed.

What stands out to me most about Adifund is that it creates alignment between financial participation and real economic impact.
As a member, you're not just investing for returns—you're participating in the growth of businesses, communities, and opportunities across Africa. You can actually see the connection between capital and outcomes: businesses expanding, jobs being created, families gaining stability, and local economies strengthening.
What also makes the experience unique is the quality of the membership community. The network is made up of accomplished individuals who are thoughtful, grounded, and genuinely committed to long-term impact.
From my perspective, Adifund is building something much bigger than a traditional investment platform. It's creating a model where economic participation, community, and development can coexist in a meaningful way.

Africa has always been more than a conversation for me. I've been thinking deeply about ownership, participation, and how we move from fragmented efforts to something more coordinated and intentional.
When a former colleague—now a long-time friend and mentor—told me about Adifund, I paid attention. He had gone on to do remarkable things in Silicon Valley, so there was already a high level of trust. What stood out even more was how naturally our conversations picked up from over 20 years ago, when we used to speak about these ideas in concept.
Adifund felt like a continuation of that thinking—but now with structure, clarity, and execution behind it. It wasn't framed as charity or sentiment. It was intentional, and built around long-term impact.
That alignment is what drew me in. And what has kept me here is the seriousness of the work and the people behind it.

The Bigger Picture
Your $250 a month.
Multiplied by the community. Directed with purpose. Felt across the continent.
The African diaspora numbers over 100 million people worldwide. If just one tenth of one percent of that community, 100,000 people, each contributed $3,000 a year, that would total $300 million annually directed into Africa's most promising businesses and infrastructure. If one percent joined, the scale of what becomes possible is extraordinary.
The diaspora has long been a powerful engine of Africa's growth, sending billions home each year. By channeling a portion of these funds through a unified, trusted structure, we can accelerate Africa's transformation and achieve far greater impact together than any of us could alone.
